In 1932, the Dow Chemical Company decided to promote Dowflake Chemical Chloride...by writing a children's book. The result: Peter and Peggy Visit the Dust Imps, a story of two children who encounter the Sand Man in Dusty Town, where Dust Imps wreak havoc on unpaved roads.
